The IT issues being experienced by NHS Tayside this morning are affecting the Practice IT systems. As a result, the staff have no access to patient records. We appreciate your understanding whilst we await further updates from NHS Tayside.

NHS Tayside is experiencing IT issues across some of our systems.

A further update will follow as developments are made.

In line with other practices across Tayside, the practice will be closed this afternoon for Protected Learning Time (PLT).

GP Practices throughout Tayside are committed to providing patients with the highest quality care. They participate in a number of Protected Learning Time (PLT) sessions throughout the year which allows them to provide access to training for the whole practice team.

Most GP Practices throughout Tayside will be closed for routine appointments between 1-6pm on Wednesday 26 November to take part in PLT sessions.
Please be assured, access to urgent care for patients will continue throughout this time.

During those hours on Wednesday 26 November, GP practices will continue to be contactable by phone to access urgent care which cannot wait until the practice reopens the following morning or to make any future appointments or medication requests.

GP surgeries will resume their usual working hours again on Thursday 27 November.

We are currently experiencing a power cut in the practice. We have no access to telephones or medical records. If you have an appointment this afternoon, and it isn't urgent, we would please ask that you do not attend and call tomorrow to reschedule. We will update when we have access. Thank you and apologies for the inconvenience.

The practice is closed today and will re-open at 8am tomorrow morning.

We are delighted to announce that the ability for patients to order their medication online is now back up and running.

We are aware how frustrating it has been for patients, who before our migration were using this regularly, and apologise for the length of delay there has been - this has been due to reasons outwith our control.

Please come in to Reception to receive log-in details, we will be unable to activate accounts over the phone.

We currently have no access to our patient systems. Our IT department are dealing with the issue currently and for the time being we will only be able to deal with urgent medical problems for the time being. We thank you for your patience.

Reminder that from today, the practice will close between 12-1.30pm every day. During this time, our doors will be closed, and phone lines will only be available for emergencies.

From today, the ability to book forward appointments (up to 14 days in advance) will be from 9am.

From Monday 2nd June - access to booking of routine appointments will be moved from 10am to 9am.

Urgent appointment or urgent advice requests will be taken from 8am and triaged until 6pm. You will be asked some medical details from our practice team and the appropriate member of the clinical team will contact you the same day.

Routine appointment requests and queries will now be taken from 9am til 12 and 1.30pm til 5. Routine appointments can be booked up to 14 days in advance. You will be asked some details about the concern you have, which GP or Nurse you may have been seeing and offered the choice of a telephone or face to face appointment. When those appointments are full you will be advised to re-contact the following day from 9am.

For tests results you can now collect your advice message between 1.30pm and 4 daily. We do not have routine access to hospital test results. Please leave enough time for results to be received and reviewed before enquiring
