Blessed Ostara ~ Is a spring festival that celebrates rebirth, renewal & new beginnings.
It’s a time where the day & night are equal (Equinox) a beautiful moment of balance before the light takes over.
Energetically it’s that feeling of Things are finally moving again, aligning with stepping out of heaviness of winter & into possibilities of Spring 🌱

Common symbols of Ostara~

🥚 Eggs – fertility, potential, new life
• 🐇 Hares/Rabbits – abundance, fertility, intuition
• 🌸 Flowers – especially daffodils, tulips, crocus
• 🌿 Seeds – intentions just beginning to grow

Some of these symbols later became part of modern Easter traditions 🐣

Why it’s a good thing that it’s Grey & overcast today! 🩶

The Cailleach is an ancient Celtic Goddess, who rules winter.
She is a wise women
A wild women
A medicine women
A witch

Legend says that at the winter ❄️ solstice. She gathers her firewood to last the winter.

And when her firewood runs out- we reach Imbolc 🔥
On February 1st, the Cailleach must go out to gather more.

If the day is bright & sunny, it is said that the Cailleach is out gathering more fire wood ~ as the winter will last a while longer.

But! If the day is grey, wet or stormy, that she has overslept and the winter is almost over… 🌱
The light may be closer than you think ✨
