Hybrid-style training can get a bad reputation. A lot of people assume it’s too intense or that they’d never be able to keep up.

The reality? It’s the opposite.

Are these sessions challenging? Yes — just like all of our sessions.
But what feels tough at the start quickly becomes manageable as your fitness improves and your resilience builds.

Big decisions have been made
 and they’re BIG 👀

Our original plan was to move everything into the new building — but the more we thought about it, the more we realised
 we can do better.

So here’s what’s happening:

We’re keeping the home of where it all started ❀
Our Ladeside facility will continue to run our Group Personal Training — the heart of our community and our success.

And our new development?

“I felt like I’d lost who I was
”

Graham had just turned 40.

Years of working a physically demanding job had slowly caught up with him. The weight had crept on, his energy was low, and more than anything
 he just didn’t feel like himself anymore.

Simple things started to change.

Keeping Rennie’s by the bed became routine.
Nights out became less frequent — not because he didn’t want to go, but because he didn’t feel comfortable in anything he owned.
Ongoing back issues eventually led to extended time off work.

That was the turning point.

He knew something had to change.

So instead of chasing quick fixes, Graham did something different — he took control of his habits and set a few non-negotiables.

No extremes. No all-or-nothing. Just consistency.

Over the last year, he committed to:
✔ Improving his eating habits
✔ Training 3 times a week through group strength & conditioning
✔ Moving more day-to-day (especially walking)

And the results speak for themselves


28kg down.

But for Graham, it’s not just about the weight.

He says the biggest changes have been:
→ Having more energy day-to-day
→ Feeling stronger and more capable in his body
→ Regaining his confidence

He’s not just lighter.

It’s about recognising when it’s time to make sacrifices and push towards your goals

and when it’s time to switch off, enjoy yourself, and be present.

Because we don’t just train for the sake of it — we train to enjoy life.

And with it being Easter, it’s a good reminder that there’s room for both 🐣

Not every week will be perfect — that’s completely normal.

What matters most is that you reset, not quit.

Take a few minutes today to reflect:
