Evening folks, hope everyone’s having a braw Sunday.

For anyone that doesn’t know, I work for a local Charity, Churches Action for the Homeless, more commonly known as CATH. For over 32 years, CATH has been serving Perth & Kinross and surrounding areas.

While CATH’s primary focus was originally homelessness, over the years it has grown into a truly holistic service. We now support people with many of the issues that can lead to homelessness, including addiction whatever form that takes and mental health challenges.

CATH also supports people into, through, and beyond recovery, and it’s important to remember that recovery looks different for everyone. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

The staff at CATH, right across the organisation, are truly dedicated and provide an incredible level of support to anyone who needs it.

I am Donating to CATH, If you would like to help CATH to continue supporting mines, yours Our Community please donate use the QR code, 👍

Whilst our boxing group is taking a break this Friday, during the downtime we'd be keen for any assistance from volunteers to help us with some general repairs and continue to fix up the space in the warehouse for the group:

💥 Painting the gym walls at height (would have to be professionally done as we don’t have insurance for people going up ladders)
💥 Installing window between the gym/breakout room
💥 General decorative work for the breakout room
💥 Carpet area for ground-work in gym

Ideally if there are any local businesses in a position to give us a hand we'd really appreciate it! 😉 If you're able and willing to help us out please contact either:

Douglas will return to lead our non-contact sessions on Friday 21 November at the usual time from 10:30-11:30! 🥊

#Becoming Red Hackle Training

I Enlisted into the Army on the 8th May 1992, I enlisted into the Infantry 1st Battalion The Black Watch RHR quite lucky really as my first posting was Hong Kong for 2 years which was absolutely amazing, during my 8 years service I served in Northern Ireland, Kenya, Hawaii, Canada, Pirbright and Inverness, I was lucky again got the opportunity to go to Hong Kong and was part of a Historical event the handover of Hong Kong, I believe I was the last British Junior ranked soldier to step off Hong Kong Island onto the Ferry as I was one of the 12 soldiers that handed over Prince Of Wales Barracks to the Chinese.

Since leaving the forces I have worked in many different roles in many different arena’s and really have never settled, this is due to many factors personally and professionally. I believe I needed to find a niche.

What would be that NICHE?, Training people either to help them improve thier current work situation or gain skills to enter into working life. Now this is where we are Red Hackle Training and rht-online.

I will look forward to Training or guiding anyone who requires my Skills Thank you for being Part of my Journey and will see you in MY training Room.
