As we come into 2026 we are on the Looking for a fully qualified self employed psychotherapist to join our team at Minds and Manes .

We would love someone who is open minded , lighthearted and approachable.
The individual must be able to work with both children and Adults and have equestrain back ground .

We have swapped a room for a field, so the individual must not be scared of the Scottish weather . We like to embrace it and not use it as a reason to cancel or postpone .

We are all about team work at Minds and Manes and open communication is a must , what we do requires a lot of organisation and we want someone who’s as keen and interested as we are .

As we begin to close up for Christmas until the 5th of January . I just want to take this opportunity to say a MASSIVE thank you for all the support we have had throughout the year !.

We have grown bigger than we could have ever imagined and I’m forever grateful for each and everyone of you !.

We go into 2026 with minimum spaces left for our group sessions (3 spaces to be exact - 2 on a Monday 3:45-4:45 for pony club and 1 for our Saturday Wellbeing group 11-12)

As always we reserve spaces for 1-1 session as these are just as important and group settings ❤️🦄.

If you have a young person who would benefit from 1-1 sessions or group sessions please do not hesitate to contact us 🦄.

We are fully insured , PVG checked, registered with IPHM and have our Council Licence . So you are 100% in safe hands .

We have some exciting things coming in 2026 from more seasonal activities , Birthday parties and the hope of welcome another professional body onboard 🎉. All with the aim to support children , young people and Adults wellbeing . Welcoming a Psychotherapist on board Means we can support people further and on a deeper level ❤️.

We only have a few days before we close for Christmas .
We close 20th of December to the 5th of January . This is to allow ourselves to recharge ready for the fun to begin in the new year and to give our ponies a well deserved Christmas holiday ❤️.

We are taking two of our ponies away to a wee Christmas jumper in hand show to give them a little fun and adventure.

We are hoping for some frosty weather so I can finish some building work 😍, fingers crossed .

Our 2026 diary is looking mega full the only spaces I have left are:
🦄 2 pony club spaces ( Monday 3:35-4:45)
🦄 1 Saturday wellbeing group space

We are looking at starting a teen Saturday group 2:30-3:30 . Let us know if you have a teen who would be interested .

This time of the year gets so busy with all the festive activities and the to do list that’s longer than your arm !.

We still have regular life to contend with and things get a little crazy .

That was me today . Rushing around to get 1 baby to her Christmas party and the other to her first nursery visit . I forgot my boots for our afternoon session 🤣🙈

Thankfully our field is holding up ok and the trainers survived 😂.

Have you had an oops moment recently ?🙈

It’s home time now to sit back and do nothing and take that well deserved chill time .

It’s ok to do nothing because your not actually doing nothing your giving your body time to recharge 🪫🔋

Coming into the new year , we have had a good few enquired about a teen group 11years plus .

Do we have any teens that would be interested in a fun group , with a mix of learning , games , social interaction .

This would be a small group of 4 on a Saturday afternoon roughly 2:30-3:30 .

I know our teens love a long lie in the morning 🦄😂💕.

🌟 Exciting news for Steady Strides! 🌟

Many of you know that our Steady Strides project, in partnership with Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust, received funding from the National Lottery community Fund to allow us to deliver the project fully funded… BUT it has now also been recognised in the Scottish Parliament! 🙌💛

A huge thank-you to Claire Baker MSP for lodging a Parliamentary motion celebrating this award and recognising the positive impact the project aims to make for local children and young people. 🙌

With so many of you already on the waiting list, we can’t wait to bring these sessions to life. 🐴✨

What a day 🤩😳.

Today has been such a mix of emotions . We received the most AMAZING news ever . That amazing Nicola and I decided to meet up back where we begun our collaboration ,to have a little celebratory coffee and hot chocolate 😍🦄.
We are just waiting on authorisation to share this amazing news 🥳.

Then……

I went to check on our little munchkins after storm Bram, our equipment had all taken flight and our storage sheds did not survive the ordeal 😔. These sheds have tackled some spectacular storms this year but Bram defeated them .

So off on a rescue mission I went to try and save what I could find and now the task of removing these sheds is under way 😏.

Good news our ponies didn’t even bat and eye lad at storm Bram and would you believe it , they never even ate all the hay they had access to in the shelter 😲.

And that’s a wrap for 2025 Outdoor learners 💪💕🦄

What an amazing final session ! We made our ponies into our favourite KP demons hunter characters . Re created our favourite scene , made our own photo frames with our favourite photo in it And Had an amazing game of ping pong 🏓 .

What a group this has been ! Absolutely amazing learning opportunities had and we will be opening our diary for our 2026 outdoor learning program starting 12th of January 💕🦄.
