Today was focused on the Chinese element of the metal horse.
The metal horse is hard working in the most difficult of adversity
Sometimes they find change very difficult, and information or experiences have to be chunked down into steps, to learn in a more comfortable way

Well this morning brought us challenge of ice, and definitely tested the change in Alex and myself!

Our learners rose to the challenge, and built a new classroom area in the non icy area of the pasture. We enjoyed lots of crafts and games around time telling today. And found a new place to enjoy a picnic!
Today defined was a feel good Monday!

🐴✨MEET AND GREET SESSIONS✨🐴

Spring weather is just around the corner!!

As the weather is starting to look a lot brighter towards the end of next week. We are going to start the first of our monthly “meet and greets”

The meet and greet will be a wonderful one off chance to meet the ponies and have a wee look at what we do.

There is no charge but there will be an optional donation to sponsor a kids session at Minds and Manes.

We’re going to limit the size of these to 4 visitors to keep the chilled out “minds and manes feel”.

The first meet and greet will be on Friday the 13th 12.30-1pm. Let’s make it a lucky one! Pm to book 🐴✨🐴✨

Huuuuuge well done to Alex for getting recognition at the Scottish Executive, not only recognizing the benefit of equine assisted work, but having the importance ir officially recognized is a huge step for the Scottish equine assisted sector as a whole. Alex remains as ever humble about this. But having been trained in this work nearly twenty years now. Hand on my heart I can say her accomplishment in this is HUGE.

So proud and excited to support this! Alex did a lot of work at Minds & Manes behind the scenes to bring this to fruition. Well done!!!
