One of the best things about our job is the people we meet, and we spend a lot of time in the company of wonderful Mums, Grannies, Stepmums or people who have taken on or support that role - it’s inspiring to hear daily how we all tackle that role differently, the challenges we face, how we support each other & the advice we can share.
It’s also lovely when we hear how much it’s appreciated or when we see the care that Mums receive when they are unwell or as they get older, or when we hear happy memories of Mums who are remembered for how much they touched the lives of those who miss them.
Whatever Mothers Day means for you, take time to make memories with the Mums in your life, remember them fondly, appreciate all the best bits of being a Mum yourself or take time out for yourself to relax or recharge.
I’ll be starting today stood at the side of a football pitch & ending it with a takeaway & a bottle of wine….with hopefully some time for myself in between! ⚽️🥂
