The Lifesavers Course was delivered yesterday at Faizan E Madina Mosque, led by Dr. Lubna Akbar and at Imam Ridha Centre, Peterborough, led by Dr. Fizza Shoaib, on behalf of British Islamic Medical Association - BIMA. The sessions were very well received, with excellent engagement at both venues.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Joint Mosques Council Peterborough, Gladca, Salaam Radio, PARCA and all the dedicated volunteers for their invaluable support.
Special thanks also to Dr.Mehr Ahmed, Dr.Al-Imran Khan, Dr. Abdullah Hyat, Dr. Abbas Haider, and all other volunteers who helped make this course a success.

Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind” (Qur’an).
Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival is only 1 in 10 - but we can change this by learning vital skills.

Local healthcare professionals, on behalf of British Islamic Medical Association - BIMA and in collaboration with the Joint Mosques Council Peterborough, invite you to a Basic Lifesaving Skills Course, covering:
📌 CPR
📌 Managing Choking
📌 Recovery Position
📌 Recognising Heart Attack Symptoms & Preventing Heart Disease/Stroke

🗓️ Saturday, 27th September 2025
📍 Faizan E Madina Mosque (after Zuhr, 1:45 pm)
📍 Imam Ridha Center, 57 St Martin's St, Peterborough PE1 3BD (5-6 PM)

👉 Open to all, with female doctors available for sisters. Refreshments provided. Please attend and share so more can benefit.
