So why does it take on average 8 years to be diagnosed? ⏳

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the womb. It can cause severe pain, fatigue and fertility challenges, yet many women wait years for answers.

At The Hamptons Hospital, we’re not just investing in world-class consultants and cutting-edge facilities. We’re also building a network of trusted local clinicians who know each other, learn together and can make faster, better-informed decisions about your care.

That's why last week, we hosted our very first clinical education evening to bring together local physios, osteopaths, GPs and healthcare professionals to strengthen referral pathways and improve care for patients in Peterborough.

Orthopaedic knee surgeon Mr Rupert Clifton delivered an insightful session on when to refer, when to scan, and how to avoid delays in treatment for knee injuries.
