Not all superheroes wear capes 🦸‍♀️ - some wear NHS uniforms and work in our hospitals!
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Health Hero to be crowned at its annual Outstanding Achievement Awards this summer 🏆. This is the only category where members of the public can nominate.

Our team were lucky enough to receive some beautiful gifts over the last few weeks, including lovely cupcakes and some fresh pizzas too.
We are always so grateful for these gifts and it always gives us a boost during our shifts.

Did you see our ward on the tv?!
Lesley we are so grateful to you and so so proud. The difference that M.A.D has had on our ward really is indescribable. From care packages for our patients, to drip stands, to weighing scales, to staff microwaves, to patient use fridges, to toiletries and anything in between. Our ward is blessed by you so often, meaning we can provide better care for our patients and their families. The relatives room really is a safe haven for so many.

The ward and the day unit have been gifted a very generous cheque from a relative of a patient.
Sandy set up a go fund me page and raised funds for both departments.
“The standard of treatment from both your departments was absolutely first class caring for Maggie‘s needs without fuss; in a proficient and professional manner throughout her illness. Dedication of your staff to the care of Maggie is greatly appreciated by her family. “
