Fantastic review from a happy client who is still on plan and maintaining her weightloss. It's not all about weightloss. Feeling better is another benefit.
"I had covid in October 2020 which affected my stomach and I was really struggling to eat food other than bread and cheese. I was really fit before getting ill and could walk for miles but now I was exhausted all the time and was struggling with long covid. It got to May 2021 and I thought enough was enough, I needed to do something, I had put on nearly a stone with my poor diet and had no energy at all, a short walk really took it out of me. I tried everything I could to change my diet but it was exhausting just trying to think about what to eat. I decided to try the 1:1 diet mainly because it appealed to me that they offered meal replacements so I didnβt have to cook from scratch. I have problems with a sensitive bladder and I have tried other meal replacement shakes in the past which made it worse so I was a bit worried this new diet might trigger more problems, but it didnβt. I met with Karen the consultant I had chosen and I was relieved she wasnβt pushy and really listened to what I wanted to achieve with the diet. She explained that the meal replacements have all the right vitamins in that you need which made me feel mentally better because I knew I was doing something good for my body rather than filling it with rubbish. The first three days were hard, I felt so hungry, but it was also a relief having a plan to follow. But then I consistently began to lose weight and within a month I was back to my pre-covid weight, I started to sleep a lot better as well. I started finding walking easier and by the end of June I managed an eight-mile walk which just left me with achy legs and no tiredness. I canβt believe what a difference a month has made. For me personally I believe the 1:1 diet has helped me beat long covid." Karen J.
