Reflexology - enhancing the bodies ability to heal itself , releasing congestion, stress and toxins, thereby enabling the body to maintain a healthy balance.

In this fast paced way of life we often push ourselves to the limits physically and emotionally - constantly neglecting ourselves and allowing our bodies to become depleted and running on empty. A lovely birthday get together for my 62'nd at The Haycock in Wansford this weekend with my dearest brother and sister. It's bee n a long time since we grabbed such a great laugh to that extent!🫠 Happy spring time to everyone xx

I inherited my Nanna's bread knife 40 years ago and have loved it all these years. She must have had it for at least 10 years before that. She was the queen of bread baking and baked beautiful bread every day, but last week the knife took a turn for the worse and started to fall apart and I just couldn't bear to let it go. Ian sent off for a new handle and fixed it this afternoon.... It lives on!! 😁👏💃 Do you have any sentimental cast downs that mean something special? 🫠x

We've been celebrating my great nephew's 2nd birthday today....all ages, bouncy castles and paddllng pools and lots of happy dogs too. So lucky with the weather! What a lovely day.

Today is the beginning of a 2 week holiday and what a wonderful start having just got back from Tolethorpe. This is my 3rd time seeing Macbeth there - the first when I was 18, then again about 6 years ago, but this time it was performed with the actors wearing more mordern today style battle dress, and it was the best performance yet! It drew us in completely. Macbeth and Macduff were such magnificent actors that both Ian and I were completely reduced to tears at the end. If you can see it I would highly recommend! :)

A Bank Holiday trip to our local Elton nursery today has made our little garden a bit more bee friendly and colourful... isn't nature just the ticket! Joy! 🫠xx

What a fabulous evening at The Haycock in Wansford last night! We were entertained by Galton Blackiston, Michelin star chef who regularly appears on James Martin's Saturday morning show. He demonstrated his 3 course menu while having us all in stitches and then we had the pleasure of eating his food. It was all to launch the new cookery school at The Haycock. He is so funny and such a wonderful character! 😊

We've got a little bit of marjoram growing in the garden, which has grown its own beautiful flowers for the first time....isn't it lovely to see nature making the most of its environment. This tiny little bee has been having a treat this afternoon and I just had to get this picture to share with you! Happy days! Xx

I'm so excited I'm now on the NHS list of approved clinical reflexologists! This has made my day and is so encouraging that conventional medicine is now embracing complimentary therapies like reflexology. Hurray! 😊

Rather late in the day but wishing you all a very happy New Year and looking forward to the best 2024.

Rather than making the same list of resolutions, I've been spending some time reflecting on the things I treasure most, and these are often very simple.

Firstly, it has to be people and animals that bring me most joy, so what I'm planning to do is make a list of values I want to cultivate, including

Gratitude - making thankfulness a daily priority

Self compassion - learning it's ok to make mistakes as I grow

Courage - stepping outside of my comfort zone if I fear uncertainty holding me back

Enthusiasm - passion makes life's journey meaningful

So, if you have already broken your resolutions, maybe those goals weren't the right ones for you anyway. Perhaps life is unfolding exactly as it was meant to be and you can spend time and energy focusing on valuing what brings you joy and makes you feel alive.
