We wanted to share this wonderful addition they have at Lyncroft Care Home 🕊️💞

They have come up with these fantastic and heartwarming decorations. 🎄🪶💓
Inside each bauble is a delicate white feather, lovingly placed to honour and remember residents who are no longer with them.

This is such a loving tribute to residents and their families.

✨ A Little Lyncroft Magic Has Arrived… ✨

We’re so proud to share a very special new addition to our home this festive season — our beautiful Lyncroft baubles. 🎄💜

These aren’t just decorations. Inside each bauble is a delicate white feather, lovingly placed to honour and remember our residents who are no longer with us. Their presence remains woven into the heart of Lyncroft, and these feathers are a soft reminder that they are still part of our story — always. 🕊️💖

Hanging on our reception tree, they bring a gentle sparkle and a moment of reflection for families, visitors and staff. A reminder of love, of memories cherished, and of the beautiful souls who have made Lyncroft the warm, caring home it is today.

Sometimes the smallest touches hold the deepest meaning. 🏡❤️

Our wonderful team at Selwood House Care Home recently hosted a heart-warming “Back in My Day” event for their local community. The afternoon was all about reminiscing, sharing stories, and celebrating the history of the local area.

Everyone enjoyed chatting about days gone by, looking back at familiar places, and connecting over shared memories. A big highlight was a lively performance from The Dorset Wrecks, a fantastic local sea shanty group who filled the room with music, fun, and plenty of smiles.

Well done to the Selwood House team for creating such a meaningful and memorable experience for residents and their neighbours. 💜

☕💚 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning at Central Services on Friday 26th September!

Our talented team baked some truly delicious treats, and together we managed to raise an amazing £165.17 for Macmillan Cancer Support. 🎉

We’re so proud to support such an incredible cause, and grateful to everyone who baked, donated, and tucked into cake with us. Every slice really does make a difference. 💜
