Someone else to talk to if anyone ever needs this wonderful useful service x
In just one year, 213 ambulance workers came to TASC with suicidal thoughts, and a quarter of them were actively planning to take their own life.
There’s clearly demand for an independent source of support and today we’re proud to launch our brand-new Ambulance Staff Crisis Phoneline.
The new 24/7 service offers immediate and ongoing help to ambulance staff experiencing suicidal thoughts or a mental health crisis. Learn more on our website: https://www.theasc.org.uk/news/tasc-launch-a-ground-breaking-new-service-to-support-suicidal-ambulance-staff/
If you’re experiencing suicidal thoughts, TASC is here to help. Call 0300 373 0898 for support 24 hours a day. The service is completely independent and confidential, and nothing you tell us will be shared with your employer, colleagues or loved ones.

This new service is made possible by funding from NHS England and has been commissioned and co-designed by the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) on behalf of the ambulance sector.
