“I thought I’d have to stop running…”

That’s what this client told me when he first came into the clinic.

In your 40s and 50s it’s easy to think pain means you have to slow down, stop training, or accept that your body just “isn’t the same anymore.”

But most of the time, the problem isn’t age.

It’s that the body hasn’t been assessed properly and given the right plan to recover.

After a full assessment, hands-on treatment, and a structured rehab approach, we worked on reducing pain, improving movement, and building strength where his body needed support.

It’s not grabbing a resistance band and hoping for the best.

Every movement has a purpose:
• Load tolerance
• Joint control
• Tendon capacity
• Muscle activation
• Movement quality

When rehab is structured properly, injuries don’t just “settle down” they get stronger.

That’s the difference between:
“Feeling better for a week”
and
Staying pain-free long term.

If you’ve been stuck in the cycle of flare up → rest → flare up again, you probably don’t need more random exercises.
