This weekend I had great fun at The National Running show in Birmingham seeing lots of interesting talks, stalls and workshops.
Of course I also couldn't leave without a new pair of running shoes! 👟

Thank you to all of my running friends for getting me back running over that past few month. Today I even got into Threshold pace (for a few seconds) 🤣
No goals at present. Right now it's about getting consistent training done 🏃‍♀️

Skiddaw & Blancathra, two of the highest peaks in the Lake District, climbed with my son this weekend. Plus stopped over in Britains highest youth hostel, off grid and no phone signal - right up my street.
Gorgeous views in every direction. Even up in the whispy clouds at the top.
A year ago I could barely walk with arthritis in my hip. Having strengthened my joints and discovering the more exercise I did the better my hip felt, I'm now mostly pain free.
It's given me a new insight into working with PT clients who've got arthritis too.

So disappointed 8 years ago running Paris Marathon in 5 hours & 5 mins. I knew I wouldn't get a PB but wanted under 5 hours.
Today I'm thrilled to be running 5mins 🙏

What a difference a few weeks make. Early PT at the Rowing Lake. Both the weather and my hair have now improved 🤣
