🌍💛 Happy World Kindness Day! 💛🌍

Here at Ashlynn Grange, we’ve been spreading a little extra kindness (and sweetness!) today! 🍪✨ Our amazing chefs baked up some delicious homemade cookies, and we delivered them to some incredible people in our community — including the hospital staff, local volunteers, our lovely Community Champions at Tesco’s and Morrison’s, and the hardworking team at the Peterborough Police Station 🚓💙

It was our way of saying a big thank you for everything they do to keep our community safe, cared for, and connected. 💐

A small gesture can make a big difference — let’s keep the kindness going, not just today, but every day! 💕

🌍💛 Happy World Kindness Day! 💛🌍

Today at Ashlynn Grange, we were absolutely delighted to make a wonderful new connection with Highlees Primary School! 🤝✨

It’s so lovely to see the younger and older generations coming together to build special relationships filled with kindness, stories, and laughter. 🥰

We’re also thrilled to be supporting the school by joining them at their Christmas Fair on Thursday, 4th December, from 3:15 pm to 5:15 pm. 🎄🎅

We’re really looking forward to continuing to grow this connection — welcoming the children to Ashlynn Grange for future events, visiting them at school, and strengthening our bond with the local community by sharing kindness and joy every step of the way. 💕

A few of our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful trip out to Dobby’s Garden Centre! 🌸🌿 We started the morning with a delicious cream tea — plenty of smiles, laughter, and chatter over some lovely cakes and a nice cuppa. ☕🍰 After that, we had a lovely stroll around the store, admiring all the festive displays and beautiful plants.

Some of our residents picked up a few new plants and compost to brighten up the garden just outside their doors — they can’t wait to get planting! 🌼🪴 To top it all off, they even bumped into a few familiar faces and enjoyed catching up with friends. It was a fantastic morning out filled with joy, laughter, and a touch of gardening inspiration! 💐

A few of our lovely residents here at Ashlynn Grange took a moment to admire the beautiful poppies they had made, now proudly displayed in our garden for Remembrance Day. 🌺 The display looks absolutely stunning, and it was wonderful to see everyone appreciating their hard work and creativity. It was a heartfelt moment of reflection and remembrance, as residents shared memories and paid tribute to those who served and sacrificed. A truly special way to honour Remembrance Day together. ❤️

Everyone loved the film and enjoyed a relaxing day together with hot drinks, popcorn, and lunch at the cinema. 🌸🌼 A huge shout-out to Tesco Serpentine, Hampton! 🌼🌸

Ashlynn Grange would like to say a massive thank you to Tesco’s amazing Community Champion, Sharon, for the wonderful donation of bulbs and seeds! 🌷🪴 Our residents can’t wait to get planting and brighten up our beautiful communal gardens with a splash of colour.

A big thank you as well to Matt Algarno for popping over to collect them! 💚

Today at Ashlynn Grange, management wanted to show a big thank you to our amazing staff for all their hard work, dedication, and the care they give to our lovely residents every single day! 💖
To show our appreciation, we treated everyone to a delicious pizza party with plenty of drinks and good vibes all around! 🍕🥤 There were smiles, laughter, and full tummies — a well-deserved treat for such a fantastic team! 🎉👏

We had a fantastic time completing one of our poppy projects! 🤩

It's now on display for Remembrance Day. 🙌

Everyone pitched in with respect, offering hands-on help with painting, sticking, and finishing touches. 💕 🙏

We hope you like the final result! 🫡

Everyone put a lot of effort into making it a beautiful cross display for all to see, remember, and appreciate. ❤️

Last week our fabulous Head Chef Karl took part in the ‘Creed Care Chef of the Year 2025 Final’
Here’s a look at some of the amazing edits from the big day which was held in Rugby.
The theme of this year’s competition was focused around person centred care and the value of what themed days can bring to the residents… So Karl decided to celebrate ‘Great Britain’ 🇬🇧 and took his ‘fish & chip supper’ to the next level by cooking the fish in Cornflakes! with Triple cooked Chips, homemade mushy peas and tartare sauce…. Followed by a beautiful Strawberries & Cream dessert with creme fraiche, shortbread crumb and the perfect delicate honeycomb Tuile biscuit to garnish.
