Good info for looking after your cave baby…..

😴We get lots of phone calls about sleep and sleep issues. Often parents will contact us because their baby is not sleeping through the night....our answer will often be that is what babies do, they don't initially sleep the same as adults and that is completely normal.
😴Sleeping through will happen naturally and eventually, just as child development happens, such as walking and talking.
😴There are things you can do as a parent to promote good sleep hygiene and a good routine and structure is key after those initial newborn months but sleeping patterns can easily be interrupted if a child becomes unwell or if there is a change in routine such as a new sibling, house move or starting nursery.
😴What is important to remember is to take care of your own health and well-being during times where your sleep may be deprived...ask your partner or family to help and sleep during the day when baby sleeps if you need to, the housework will always wait.
