Sadly, but peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Sunday 25th January 2026, Ferguson Stephen (Fergie) aged 92 years. Beloved 5th son of the late James and Marion Stephen, a much-loved and loving brother, uncle, great uncle and good friend to many. Very sadly missed. Service of Thanksgiving for Fergie’s life to be held in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead on Thursday 12th February at 11 a.m. to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Rathen West Churchyard. The family of the late Rhoda McCallum would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for all the many kind and thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them in so many different ways, including the generous donations received in lieu of flowers for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, during Rhoda’s very sad and sudden passing. Grateful thanks must be extended to the paramedics, the air ambulance team, the police and all others who assisted at her home. Thanking Mr Mark Hill and Mr Michael Gaunt for such a comforting service and finally to all who paid their last respects in The Church of Christ and at the graveside.

The cards, telephone calls, practical acts of kindness and prayerful support have been greatly appreciated. Grateful thanks must go to Pastor Neil Cameron and Pastor Daniel Sutherland for their pastoral support and for such an uplifting and comforting Service, both in the Hall and graveside; to staff at The Buchan Braes Hotel, Boddam, for the welcome refreshments with further thanks to everyone who donated so generously towards Peterhead Fisherman’s Mission in lieu of flowers.
