Playground Time with the Hack Squat Machine.
I’ve been experimenting a few hack squat variations lately, inspired by Tom Platz’s intensity and creative leg training.

Also use of yoga blocks for added depth, and after chatting with Aneta she showed me a few more exercises to try 🔥🔥 specifically unilateral movements!!!

So, here’s a mix / combo of me ducking around and finding out 💁🏽‍♀️

Wrapping up training with my client.
finished strong with 10 minutes incline walk, but still chatting away to control HR.

Gave her the option to hold on to the handles, but she was like, No! 🙌🏽

Her reaction at the end when she swiped to see how much she lifted? Priceless. ❤️ It’s all about building confidence, one session at a time!

This was one of those breakthrough moments.

My client had been stuck at a certain weight on barbell squats for a while more mental than physical. So we decided to push past that barrier and go heavier…

And she absolutely nailed it.

It really is all in your head. Our minds keep us in the comfort zone far longer than our bodies need to.

So we added a bit of confidence knee sleeves, a soft belt just enough to quiet those “I can’t do it” thoughts…

And just like that: 60kg for the first time… for 6 reps.

We were aiming for ONE rep 😂 and she gave me SIX.

Yes, there was a slight upper back unlock, but honestly? We ripped the bandage off. And that last rep moved way better than expected 😅 which tells me there’s still plenty left in the tank 💪🏽

Mental block: gone.

You are always stronger than your mind lets you believe.
