Instagram can be such an inspiring space for creative Pilates flows, but as an instructor, my focus is always on the clients in front of me — understanding their needs, abilities, and goals.

Many of my clients experience things like arthritis, mild pain, or limited mobility, so while creative routines look beautiful online, they aren’t my priority if they don’t help someone feel better in their body.

I think about movement functionally — will this exercise truly support, strengthen, and benefit the people I’m teaching? That’s what matters most.

Seeing my clients return week to week shows they’re seeing/feeling the benefits too 🥳

Evening Snacking

Let’s be honest — when we settle down for a film, it’s rarely with a bag of carrots! Most evening snacks tend to be ultra-processed, calorie-dense, and low in nutrients.

More often than not, it’s not true hunger driving those habits — it’s routine, stress, or even low mood. Busy days, emotional fatigue, and comfort-seeking all play their part.

The good news? A few simple shifts can make a big difference. You don’t need to give up your Saturday night treat, but it’s worth asking — has that “occasional” treat become a nightly habit?

Finishing your final meal a few hours before bed allows your body to digest, repair, and restore overnight — helping you wake up lighter, more energised, and ready to take on the day.

Our week is complete! Thank you for such a great week of classes. Today we had our second class at Forbes Health Group with clients just starting on their pilates journey.

It’s been lovely to see some new faces 🥰

We don’t have any classes on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th November as I’m in London but all back to normal the week after. Monday - Wednesday classes and sessions next week will run as normal.

Now it does matter what that meal is!

You want to create balance within your meals —

protein / healthy fats / complex carb

but including a gentle movement after your meal, a walk, cleaning the kitchen or hoovering, can help the body to use up the available sugar in the blood from the meal which helps reduce the blood sugar spike.

Useful for those looking after their blood sugar levels 📉 consistently high blood sugar levels are common but can lead to future health problem such as T2 Diabetes. Found this useful? Give us a 👍🏽

Our first class done in the new space at Forbes Health Group 🤍 which is beautiful 🤩

We will be hosting GENTLE PILATES on a Tuesday and Friday ~ this class is designed for those starting out in their pilates journey, those returning to exercise and easing themselves in or for those looking a relaxing session to ease stiffness and tension.
