Cases of Norovirus are on the rise.

Websters Pharmacy can help you treat your symptoms effectively, and give the best advice to have you feeling better as soon as possible.

🦠 Norovirus can cause vomiting and diarrhoea and spreads easily. Most people recover within a few days. Rest, keep hydrated and stay home until 48 hours symptom‑free to protect others.

Symptoms:
🤢 Sudden nausea
🤮 Projectile vomiting
💩 Watery diarrhoea
🤒 Sometimes fever, headaches, stomach cramps, and aching limbs

Prevention Tips:
🏠 Stay home for 48 hours after symptoms stop
🧼 Wash hands frequently with soap and water
🧴 Disinfect surfaces with bleach-based cleaners
🍎 Avoid raw, unwashed food

If Infected:
💧 Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration
🛌 Rest and take paracetamol for fever or aches
🍲 Eat plain foods like soup, rice, pasta, and bread

The pollen count for the Grampian region this week is low, however those with a sensitivity to pollen may already be experiencing symptoms. It's good to stock up on the appropriate treatments for when those symptoms really hit.
