You may have seen recent news regarding an isolated meningitis outbreak in Canterbury.
The UK Health Security Agency(UKHSA) are monitoring this outbreak and completing contact tracing to offer antibiotics to anyone that requires them. Hopefully this will contain the infection.
In the meantime, here is a reminder of some of the precautions you can take to prevent yourself from becoming unwell and some of the early signs of meningitis. Remember, if you are concerned call NHS 111. If you have a rash that does not fade when pressed, call 999.
