What an absolutely amazing time we had volunteering for Surviving Christmas today! Following the donation made by Unity Care Solutions to this wonderful cause, we were invited to go along and see the charity's work in action. We were tasked with helping to fill food hampers with essential items to ensure that the families receiving them do not go hungry this Christmas. It was an extremely humbling experience and a stark reminder that not everyone has a fun-filled Christmas to look forward to. It was lovely to know that our contribution today will make a difference to the lives of many families.

Unity Care Solutions are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support a range of our clients with complex care needs across Eastbourne.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1, person-centred care within clients’ own homes, supporting individuals with varying clinical needs while developing your skills in community and paediatric complex care.

📍 Location: Eastbourne, Sussex
💰 Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour
🕒 Shifts: Weekdays & Weekends

✨ Key Skills & Responsibilities:
• Delivering high-quality personal care and emotional support
• Supporting infants, children and young adults with complex health needs
• Tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, enteral nutrition and suctioning (training provided)
• Seizure management and oxygen therapy
• Monitoring wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
• Following individual care plans and clinical protocols
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with families and the wider MDT
• Promoting comfort, independence and quality of life

💡 To be successful, you will have:
• A strong willingness to learn and develop new clinical skills
• Commitment to regular shifts
• A caring, professional and reliable approach
• Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential)
