You don’t have to be flexible.
You don’t have to know what you’re doing.

You just have to start where you are.

Trying yoga doesn’t mean committing to a new lifestyle or changing who you are.
It just means giving yourself a bit of time to move, breathe, and see how it feels.

Some people surprise themselves.
Some people wobble.

All of it counts.

Some days it’s strong. Some days it’s wobbly. Some days it’s basically lying on a mat and breathing like a functional human. All of it counts.

It’s powerful and it’s all about lifting your heart, both physically and emotionally.

It’s not about how high you lift, it’s how you feel doing it.
Soft elbows, relaxed face, strong foundation.

I’m the founder of YogaBird and teach the Friday morning class.

I care a lot about helping people feel safer in their bodies and more at home in themselves. I’m always learning, always curious, and always trying to make yoga feel more real-life and less performative.
