Kerry Smith-Bowen Bowen is a gentle hands on therapy, which encourages the body to restore structural integrity by tre His technique is now recognised worldwide.

The Bowen Technique was developed in Australia by Thomas Ambrose Bowen of Geelong who continued to practice until his death in the 1980's. The Bowen Technique is suitable for adults and children, including newborn babies and the elderly. The technique is performed using a series of gentle moves across muscle, tendon and other soft tissue to effect a movement of the tissue. The body makes subtle adjustments which help to re-balance the body, relieve tension and reduce pain. There is no hard tissue manipulation involved and the majority of the treatment can be performed through light clothing. Bowen therapy can help with a multitude of problems including back and neck pain, sports injuries, frozen shoulder, knee problems, allergies, respiratory problems, IBS, stress and fatigue to name just a few.
