⚠️ Lost/stray dog spotted – Underlane / Merafield area

A small golden Labradoodle-type dog has been seen running around Underlane, moving between Merafield View Nursing Home and Bargain Booze. Last seen heading toward the top of Market Road.

The dog appears very frightened, and several people have tried but been unable to safely catch it.

If anyone in the area recognises this dog or its owner, please let them know. If you spot the dog, approach calmly and avoid chasing, as it may panic and run into traffic.

✨ Festive Fun at the Home! ✨

For those of you in the know… Cath is dressing up every day throughout December, and the residents are absolutely loving it!

Yesterday’s photo shows off not only her fabulous outfit but also our beautiful outdoor lights, which had their official Elf Switch-On! 🎄🧝‍♂️

🎟️ Raffle Tickets On Sale
Tickets are available at reception — selling a little slower than usual, but the prizes are still rolling in! We’re currently at £380.00 raised so far. Thank you to everyone who has supported us!

🧵 Homemade Items Coming Next Week
From next week, a selection of homemade goodies will be available to buy in reception, payable by cash or card. The range will change weekly and may even feature some sweet treats from our Lotte!

All money raised goes directly back into the home (unless otherwise stated).

And great news… we’re expecting the return of Cafan’s creations! Many of you met Cafan at the summer fête — he’s fundraising for his Camp Kenya 2027 trip, and his items were a huge hit, so they are coming back for Christmas!

Thank you all for your continued support and festive spirit, due to your support we have been able to arrange some amazing activities, with 2 sets of furry friends coming in soon... keep an eye out for social media, and check the new Whats On booklet that came out today! 🎅✨
