From the 1st of April, some treatment prices will increase slightly.

This is something I review periodically so I can continue offering the same level of care, time and attention every client receives here.

Any appointments already booked will remain at the price they were booked at.

If you’ve been meaning to book a treatment, appointments made during March will still be at the current prices.

Thank you as always for supporting my little business, it genuinely means a lot 🤍

What is this coming through my window? 🌞

What a relief, it finally feels like spring might be on its way.

I had a lovely quiet moment setting up the room this morning and it made me smile because people often say it must be so chilled working in here all day.

And generally, it really is.

But there’s also plenty of washing, setting up the room, adjusting the couch (you all know how I feel about towel management 😉), and cleaning between treatments.

All so that when you walk through the door, everything is ready and you can properly switch off. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What to expect from a gentle lymphatic drainage massage:

This is not deep tissue.
It’s not Brazilian contouring.
And it’s not a medical lymphatic treatment.

It’s a slow, light-pressure technique designed to support natural lymph flow and circulation.

During your session you can expect:

• Very gentle, rhythmic strokes
• A calm, steady pace
• No painful pressure
• An unhurried, considered approach

Afterwards, people often say they feel:

• Less heavy
• More comfortable
• Less puffy
• Relaxed, but not “worked over”

It’s subtle work.
No dramatic claims, just thoughtful support for your body.

If you’d like to know whether it’s suitable for you, you’re always welcome to ask

Today I treated a lovely mum to be 🤰🏻just beautiful 🤍

She is 21 weeks pregnant and the lower back pain has started to be uncomfortable.

Around the second trimester your posture begins to shift more noticeably. As your baby grows the centre of gravity changes and the lower back often works harder to compensate. That constant adjustment can lead to muscular fatigue and tension.

During a pregnancy massage I focus on:

• Supporting the lower back safely
• Reducing muscular load
• Improving comfort with side-lying positioning
• Adapting pressure appropriately

Discomfort during pregnancy is common and massage is a great way to relieve the tension.

If you’re unsure whether massage is suitable for you, I’m always happy to talk it through.

One of the most common questions I get is when pregnancy massage is suitable.

I offer it from 12 weeks onwards, with positioning and pressure adapted to the stage you’re at. The first trimester is when nausea, fatigue and hormonal changes are highest thats why it's best to wait until the second trimester for your comfort and safety.

How it helps:
• Eases lower back discomfort
• Reduces hip and pelvic tension
• Supports circulation
• Encourages better sleep

Pregnancy can change the body quickly, hips shift, posture adjusts, circulation increases, thoughtful massage can help support those changes.

If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, you’re always welcome to ask.

Valentine’s doesn’t have to mean flowers or jewellery.
Sometimes the most thoughtful gift is time out, space to breathe, and proper care.

Gift vouchers are available in person or online and they’re often the easiest decision you’ll make.

On World Cancer Day, a quiet reminder that massage should always feel safe, considered and tailored.

I’m trained in working with people affected by cancer, I’m very aware that every body and every experience is different. I don’t believe in a one-size fits all approach, I listen, I adapt, sometimes gentle support is enough

Most people at the gym yesterday:
🎧 Old skool anthems blasting.

Me:
Listening to “2026 Body Reset” with Dr. Betsy Grunch on the Mel Robbins Podcast 🥴

💡 Did you know your head weighs 10–15 lbs when upright but when we tilt forward to look at our phones, that pressure on your neck and spine can feel like 60 lbs? That kind of strain every day quietly builds tension, stiffness and discomfort over time, now known as tech neck.

Posture isn’t just about looking “straight.” It’s about relieving stress from your neck, shoulders and spine so you can move, breathe and feel better every day. That matters whether you’re smashing a workout, scrolling on the sofa, or sitting at your desk.

💆‍♀️ Small shifts can help, raise your phone, stack your spine and taking breaks make a huge difference in how your body feels.

Betsy also takes about sleeping positions and how you move daily can help with your spine health.

It’s well worth a listen, maybe when you’re next in the gym 🤣

If you’ve ever thought 🤔

“I really need a massage but
What about my weight?
What about my scars?
What if I feel exposed, awkward or judged?”

You’re not alone and you’re not overthinking it.

This space was created with those worries in mind.
No judgement. No pressure. No explaining.

Just calm, private care, exactly as you are.

Feeling the Sunday night dread?

The heaviness of the weekend slipping away, your mind already racing with the to do list for tomorrow morning? I remember it well!

You don’t have to go into next week with nothing to look forward to. Having something booked, something just for you, can change how Monday feels before it arrives.

🤍 Online booking is open, why not give yourself something to look forward to.

22/01/2026

Why do we wait until thing start to really hurt?

Trying to push through usually looks like:
– ignoring the tension and uncomfortable shoulders and neck
– telling yourself you’ll rest later
– hoping a good night’s sleep will be the miracle cure

But it rarely is.

Doing looks different.
It’s listening sooner.
It’s giving your body the support it needs before everything feels too much.

So don’t try to book.
Do.

🤍 If your body’s been quietly asking for a pause, book online and I’ll take care of the rest.
