Supplements can help if you’re deficient—but they’re not a substitute for a proper medical work-up.
What the evidence says (short version):
• Vitamin D / Magnesium / Zinc: correcting lows may modestly raise testosterone in some men. Results vary across trials.
• Ashwagandha: standardized extracts show small-to-moderate benefits—likely via stress/cortisol and sleep quality. Quality matters.
• Tongkat Ali: look for HPLC-verified eurycomanone; some studies show modest increases. Avoid vague “200:1” labels.
• Boron: may reduce SHBG and slightly increase free T (early data).
• Shilajit: some positive studies, but sourcing & heavy-metal testing are essential.
Our approach:
1. Symptoms + comprehensive bloods (total/free T, SHBG, LH/FSH, prolactin, thyroid, vitamin D, etc.).
2. Fix lifestyle & micronutrient gaps first.
3. If clinically indicated, doctor-led TRT with ongoing monitoring for results and safety.
