🌙We’re hiring – Waking Night Support Workers

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Workers to join our fantastic team at ICL Homes.

This role is vital in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the individuals we support throughout the night. You will play an important part in providing reassurance, monitoring wellbeing, and supporting with any needs that may arise during the night hours.

✨ About the Role:
• Supporting individuals with learning disabilities during night hours
• Carrying out regular wellbeing checks
• Supporting with personal care when required
• Completing night-time tasks and documentation
• Ensuring a calm, safe, and comfortable environment

💙 What we’re looking for:
• A caring and patient nature
• Reliability and good communication skills
• A passion for supporting others to live fulfilling lives

🌙 2x 36 hour full time contract available (3 nights a week) subject to references and a clear enhanced DBS.

Last Week at ICL Homes 🌍

What another fantastic and busy week we’ve had across ICL Homes!

Our service users enjoyed a wide range of activities, keeping everyone active, social, and smiling. From attending Orbit Club and visiting the local library, to relaxing lunch outings, walks in the fresh air, and some friendly competition with indoor curling – there was something for everyone to enjoy.

In-house, the kitchen was full of delicious smells as our baking sessions took place, and of course we celebrated a special birthday with cake, and lots of laughter! 🎉

A special highlight of the week was at Inglenook, where they kicked off our new “Around the World” weekly menu with a wonderful Italian-themed evening. Service users enjoyed a taste of Italy, making their own pizzas, it was a lovely social atmosphere – we’re excited to see where in the world our menu takes us next! 🇮🇹

It’s been a week full of fun, friendship, and new experiences. Well done to our amazing staff for making it all happen, and to our wonderful service users for embracing every moment. 🌈

Another fantastic week at ICL Homes! 🌈

Our service users have been busy enjoying a wide range of fun and meaningful activities. From the excitement of indoor curling and bowling to attending Orbit Club, there has been something for everyone to get involved in.🎳

Back at home, we’ve also enjoyed plenty of in-house activities, including creative arts and crafts, keeping everyone engaged, social, and smiling. 🎨

This week, Lookman, one of our dedicated team members, held his second Christian faith session. It was a lovely opportunity for those who wished to attend to come together for reflection, discussion, and spiritual support, including some hymns✨

We love seeing our homes full of activity, choice, and opportunities that support wellbeing, independence, and personal interests.🙂

Well done to our amazing service users and staff for another positive week! 👏🏼

A huge shoutout to, two of our fantastic managers who truly demonstrated what dedication and teamwork look like this week. On their day off, they went above and beyond by completing an assessment to ensure we continue to provide the highest standard of care and support.

After their hard work, they took some well-deserved time to enjoy a walk together followed by lunch — because teamwork really does make the dream work! 💙

We are incredibly proud to have such committed and supportive leaders within our team.
Thank you both for your continued passion and dedication to our homes and the people we support. 🫶🏼

Apologies for the recent radio silence from us!

☔️Although January (and now February) had brought lots of wet and windy weather, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits here.
Across all of our homes, everyone has been keeping busy and making the most of each day with a variety of fun and meaningful activities, both indoors and out in the community whenever possible.

🎨From creative sessions and group activities in the homes to trips out and about, it has been wonderful to see so much engagement, laughter, and enjoyment from the people we support. Keeping active, social, and involved is so important, and our teams have worked incredibly hard to ensure there have been plenty of opportunities for this despite the challenging weather.

🌈We look forward to sharing more photos and updates with you all soon. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

As we come to the end of another wonderful year, we’d like to reflect on all the lovely Christmas festivities we’ve shared across our homes. From laughter, food, music and special moments together, it’s been a truly magical time ❤️

We would like to wish all of our amazing service users, our dedicated and hardworking staff, and all of our lovely families and followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your continued support throughout the year – we couldn’t do what we do without you.

Here’s to a happy, healthy and joyful year ahead ✨🎄

It’s nearly been a whole week since our service users, friends and family Christmas party, and we’re still smiling thinking about what a truly special day it was. From the wonderful food and beautiful moments shared to the laughter, joy and togetherness, it was a day to remember for everyone involved. 🎄✨

We had another wonderful day today at our service users Christmas meal at the Toby carvery Photos to follow. 🎄🎅🏽

✨ ICL Homes Christmas Celebration 2025 ✨

What a magical day we had at our Service Users Friends & Family Christmas Party! 🎄❤️

Our service users, families, staff, PCC Commissioners,and Caring Plymouth all came together for a wonderful festive celebration filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of Christmas cheer. We enjoyed a delicious spread of food, two beautiful poems read by one of our lovely ladies from Laburnum Lodge, and of course a special visit from Father Christmas himself! 🎅✨

We also held our annual Staff Awards, celebrating the amazing dedication and hard work of our teams across all three homes. It was truly heart-warming to see everyone enjoying themselves and sharing such a special day with their families.
