Plymouth Health and Wellbeing Festival
Friday 24 October (10am – 3pm).

A “Health and Wellbeing Festival” is to take place at Plymouth Pavilions on Friday 24 October (10am – 3pm).

Local people are invited to drop in for guidance about community support services, and information about local services and health advice and support.

More than 25 organisations are involved across various areas including blood pressure checks, cancer screening and research engagement.

From today, Monday 20 October, all routine blood tests at Outpatients, Derriford Hospital are now appointment only.

Patients can book using their NHS login through SwiftQueue, or call the phoneline if they need support.

This change will help us reduce queues, improve patient experience, and make the process smoother for everyone.

From today, Monday 6 October, all routine blood tests at Windsor House are moving to an appointment-only system using the SwiftQueue booking portal. This change has been introduced to reduce queues, improve patient comfort and experience, and provide more choice with early morning and late-afternoon slots.

Patients can now book, change or cancel their blood test appointments online using their NHS login. For those without internet access, a dedicated booking phone line is available on 01752 433040.

Some walk-ins will still be accepted during a short transition period, but Windsor House will become fully appointment-only in the coming weeks. Urgent or specialist blood tests will continue to take place at the Derriford Outpatients Department.
