📢 Important Update for Our Patients – Today Only

Our regular pharmacist, Nicola, is unwell today.

Clement will be covering until 3pm, but after that time we will not have a pharmacist on-site between 15:00 and 18:00.

Under the new pharmacy supervision legislation coming into force in 2026, our trained pharmacy team can continue to operate safely during this period. However, we are unable to dispense or hand out any prescriptions between 3pm and 6pm today. We won't also be able to sell any [P] medicines but can continue selling any GSL lines such as paracetamol.

Prescribers can continue to send prescriptions to Honicknowle Pharmacy, but please be aware that anything sent this afternoon will be prepared for tomorrow.

If you prefer to collect your prescription elsewhere, the team can release it for you.

📢 Flu & COVID-19 Vaccinations – 2025/26 Season Update 📢
🙏As we prepare for the upcoming vaccination season, we want to thank everyone who has supported us in previous years. Your trust means the world to us, and we’re proud to continue serving our community with care and dedication.🙏

💉 Vaccinations for pregnant women begin from 1st September 2025.
👥 All other eligible adult groups can be vaccinated from 1st October 2025.
📅 Bookings open on 1st September 2025 via the National Booking System (NBS) for appointments starting from 1st October.
🛑 Please wait until 1st September to book your appointment — this ensures everything runs smoothly and in line with NHS guidance.
✅ We’ve ordered a large supply of vaccines from multiple manufacturers and are confident we’ll be able to meet demand for all our patients this season.

🙏 If you’ve supported us in the past, we’d love for you to continue choosing us for your vaccinations. Every appointment booked with us helps keep our local services strong and accessible — and we’re here to make your experience as easy and reassuring as possible.
