I am very lucky to be able to use Becky's wonderful space at The Stay & Play Hub for my classes and it's great to support another small business 🥰 If you haven't already been to her Stay & Play or Kidslingo sessions, get yourself booked in!

It’s been a tricky time lately, and I just wanted to be honest and share a little update.

Running a small business isn’t easy at the best of times, and with lots of changes recently I’ve had to take on more of my Kidslingo classes myself — which means I’m now working 7 days a week. I’m so grateful for all the lovely families and little learners I get to see each week, but it’s definitely been a juggle trying to balance being a mum, a wife, and running two businesses.

I know I’ve been slower replying to messages and emails, and I’m sorry if you’ve been waiting to hear back — I promise I’m not ignoring anyone, just trying to keep all the plates spinning right now.

It’s also disheartening at times seeing bookings drop or hearing about my ideas being used elsewhere. I try to remind myself that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but it can still sting when you’ve poured your heart into something.

I don’t usually post things like this, but I wanted to be honest — I’m finding things hard at the moment and could really use a bit of support. Whether that’s a kind word, a share, a booking, or simply some understanding, it all means more than you know. 💛

Thank you to everyone who continues to cheer me on (especially my team of Superheroes & Princesses) — it truly keeps me going ☺️

We finished off our current Wrigglers term with Duck week! 🦆

New term starts next week and there are still a few spaces in the afternoon class if you want you join us. The themes will be:

Parrot 🦜 Frog 🐸 Fox 🦊 Piglet 🐷 Shark 🦈 and finishing with our Christmas Special which will be a longer session including festive treats, Christmas photoshoot and a personalised gift from me! 🎅🌲

Times are tough right now — people are booking later than ever, and many still haven’t discovered us. That leaves us in a tricky spot where we sometimes have to hold our nerve or pull shows we really don’t want to!

We don’t receive any ongoing funding to keep us going — everything we do is powered by ticket sales and ticket sales alone. Every seat sold truly makes a difference.

A fun, music-filled session designed especially for babies, toddlers and their siblings!

You can expect:

🌙✨️ ACTIVE BIRTHING - WEEK 2 ✨️🌙

This week was all about the cervix! What it is, what it does, what it looks like and what affects it, all with the help of my cervical dilation model!

We also discussed induction, including the reasons why induction may be suggested and what that might look like if you choose to go down that path.

This was all in addition to the usual yoga movement and stretching, breathwork and relaxation that you can expect in every Active Birthing class!
