Today at Practice Plus Group Hospital Plymouth, we paused to pay tribute on Remembrance Day to all those who gave their lives in conflict.💜

We are incredibly proud to have a number of ex-servicemen and women among our team, who shared their military uniforms and stories as part of a special display in the hospital.

At 11am, staff and patients joined together to observe the two minutes’ silence in remembrance and reflection.

We are honoured to be a Veterans Aware Hospital and deeply grateful to our colleagues who have served this country with courage and dedication. 🌺

We’re delighted to share that our Secondary Care division- our hospitals, surgical centres, UTCs, and CATS and diagnostic services- is to move under new ownership with Narayana Health, an Indian healthcare company that shares our passion for making high quality healthcare accessible for all.🤝

Narayana Health provide multi-specialty care, with one of the world’s largest cardiac, renal and oncology programs. They are regarded globally as having one of the most efficient healthcare models in terms of quality and costs of care.

The business will be led by Ross Dowsett, who steps up into the Chief Executive position with Jim Easton as Non-executive Chair, while Jim remains at the helm of our Health in Justice and Integrated Urgent Care divisions.🙌

Hospital Director Sarah-Jane led by example, rolling up her sleeve for her flu jab to encourage colleagues to do the same.
Together, we’re helping to protect our patients, our staff, and our community this winter. 💜

Practice Plus Group Hospital Plymouth were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor Kathy Watkins to our hospital. The Lord Mayor and The Lord Mayor's Consort Dr John Mahoney were given a tour of the hospital by Sarah Fell - Hospital Director and the Senior Management Team. This was followed by a meeting with our managers and two former patients.

It was truly inspiring to hear her thoughts and reflections on the services we offer our patients on a daily basis. It was insightful to learn about the incredible scope and responsibilities of The Lord Mayor and her role within the City of Plymouth.

🥋 Back on the mat! Thanks to NHS Patient Choice and expert care at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth, judo mum Kylie Adams went from chronic hip pain to competing for Team GB – all within three months of referral! 👏💜

🎂 Macmillan Coffee Morning at Practice Plus Group Hospital Plymouth ☕

This morning, our amazing theatre team swapped scrubs for cake (well, briefly!) to take part in a Macmillan Coffee Morning — all in support of people living with cancer. 🍰

Our Hospital Director Sarah also couldn’t resist a slice of cake for a great cause!

With plenty of homemade bakes and generous donations, we're hoping to raise £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support – an organisation that provides essential care and guidance to so many people during incredibly tough times.

💚 Every slice counts, and every penny helps.

A huge thank you to our colleagues at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth, who kept the pedals turning from 9am–4pm on World Physical Therapy Day to raise funds for , in partnership with Ginsters and our friends at Argyle Community Trust!🚲

A team of our physios were joined by staff from Argyle Community Trust, and a very cheeky Pilgrim Pete, to see how many miles we could clock up. Pete even squeezed in some admin while he was there!🤗
