Support Workers Needed

We’re recruiting 3 x 28-hour Support Workers to support two ladies living independently in the community.

🕗 08:00–22:00 shifts + sleep-ins
✅ Guaranteed 2 x 14-hour shifts per week, including weekends on a rota
💷 £12.63 per hour

Supporting individuals with mental health, learning disabilities (and epilepsy for one lady).

Please be aware: The attached letter contains very sensitive information, which could potentially be triggering for people who have been affected by coercive control behaviour.

My hope is, that this letter provides an undestanding of what coercive control looks like, and offers a way forward for those ready to take it. Within the letter you'll find contact information for organisations who can provide advice and support for:

- People who are experiencing coercive control
- People who have experienced coercive control in the past
- People who suspect that someone they care about is a victim of coercive control
- People who are the perpetrators of it (and want to change their behaviour)

In addition to these valuable services (some of them local), New Direction employees have access to a confidential EAP service, the advice line for them is open 24 hours a day.
