Thoughts are with the Driver but what fast thinking by the boys 👏👏😍😍

Shout out to these heroic teenagers. Toby Southall and Leon Lewis, both 16, were chatting to the college bus driver when they saw his arms drop from the wheel. Realising he was unresponsive, they sprang into action to protect everyone.

Toby thought fast and grabbed hold of the driver, keeping him safe while allowing Leon room to take over. Leon slammed his foot on the brake, stopping the bus from going into traffic.

Another young man, Jack Bishop, called for an ambulance, whilst a fourth on the bus performed CPR before emergency services arrived. Tragically, the driver passed away and our thoughts are with his loved ones.

Toby's mum, Donna, said: "The bravery was amazing, for them to take over like that and not stand there in shock. It's really sad how something like that can happen so fast, and on a normal route home."
