Condoms are not one-size-fits-all. They come in a variety of sizes to ensure comfort and effectiveness. Plus, if you have a latex allergy, there are plenty of latex-free options available. Safe protection should work for everyone.

Shigella isn’t just food poisoning.

Shigella is a bacterial infection that causes severe diarrhoea and can easily be mistaken for food poisoning. It spreads when tiny amounts of bacteria from faeces enter the mouth during or after s*x.

Gay and bis*xual men are at higher risk.

The good news? Shigella is easily treated with antibiotics.

If you have symptoms, see your GP or a s*xual health clinic. Let them know you may have picked up a gut infection through s*x so they can arrange the right tests and treatment.
While you’re there, it’s a good idea to have a full s*xual health check-up, including an HIV test.
