Beacon Medical Group was formed in April 2014 when three groups of family doctors agreed to merge to form one single practice. Each practice had a strong foundation of supporting their local community for decades but wanted to enhance their offer - to provide additional services and to secure a service for many years to come. Early on, Beacon introduces new groundbreaking services which provided faster access to help and at times bringing traditional hospital services out to the community. Patient Notice: Prescription ordering for Christmas / New Year 2025

As Christmas approaches, remember to order any prescriptions you may need to ensure you do not run out over the Christmas period.

Online ordering is available 14 days before your prescription is due for the Christmas period. Pharmacy turnaround times will vary for collection. Allow at least 7 days for your pharmacy to process.

Normal turnaround time applies before the 10th December for Beacon to process your prescription.

Please see the dates below:

Anything due to collect before 24th December 2025 please request before the 10th December 2025.

Anything due to collect before 31st December 2025 please request before the 17th December 2025.

Anything due to collect between 1st – 06th January 2026 please request before 24th December 2025.
