Recently, everyone at Beyond Limits came together for a special Valentine’s x Pancake Day celebration ❤️🥞

Staff and the people we support gathered for great company, lots of laughs and a room full of Valentine’s themed decorations 💕✨ There was plenty of creativity on show with arts and crafts, as everyone enjoyed making their own handmade Valentine’s cards 🎨💌

And of course, it would not be Pancake Day without plenty of delicious pancakes 😋 We had a fantastic selection of toppings including syrup, chocolate spread, lemon and sugar, cream and berries 🍓 plus even some Marmite pancakes for those who like something a little different!

It was a lovely afternoon filled with friendship, creativity and community spirit 💛

Kayleigh recently took on an exciting challenge and smashed it 💪

Alongside her mum, Wendy and members of her team, Kayleigh successfully completed The Accused escape room at Escapism Plymouth.

From solving clues to working through tricky puzzles, Kayleigh and the team showed brilliant problem-solving skills, teamwork and determination throughout the experience. It was fantastic to see everyone working together to crack the case and complete the room.

Paul is preparing to move into his own home after spending time in a long-stay hospital, and we are building a brand new team around him.

We are looking for a Team Leader and Support Workers to support Paul as he takes this next step and builds a life in his community.

Paul is friendly, largely independent, and a real tech enthusiast 💻 He enjoys troubleshooting, talking tech, and spending time on his Xbox 🎮 so confidence with IT and technology is important. If you know your FPS from your MMO, that is definitely a bonus.

Outside of tech, Paul enjoys:
🛍️ Charity shop hunting
🍽️ Going out for lunch
🌊 Walks along the beach
🐾 Animals
👨‍👩‍👧 Spending time with his sister

This role includes lone working and sleepovers, with various hours available.

Chantelle and Chris recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to London where they went to see the ABBA Voyage show with Lorraine and Courtney 🎶

They had an amazing time with lots of singing and dancing and really loved the whole experience 💃🕺

Chantelle is already hoping their next show might be The Lion King, while Chris has his sights set on going to a football match ⚽

Adrian recently enjoyed a fantastic break away to Liverpool and Manchester 😊

In Liverpool, he visited Anfield Stadium ⚽, explored the Liverpool Museum 🏛️, checked out the Beatles Museum 🎶 and visited the Upside Down House 🔄.

The trip continued in Manchester, where Adrian visited Old Trafford, enjoyed meals out 🍽️ and relaxed at his hotel 🏨.

A wonderful opportunity for Adrian to explore new places, enjoy his interests and have a well-earned break 💙

Belated birthday wishes to Kayleigh 🎂💜

We had such a brilliant time celebrating together at Raffles Social Club
With great music, tasty food and lots of smiles all round 🎉

The venue looked amazing, decorated especially for Kayleigh with big balloons and birthday decorations, and the birthday cake looked incredible 🎈

We also made the most of the photo booth, with plenty of laughs thanks to the hats, glasses and wigs 📸

Last week, a few of our team took 20 minutes out of the morning to pause and reset 🎨

Led by our Director Rebecca, we put work to one side and picked up pens, paper and craft materials. With creativity encouraged, everyone spent time drawing whatever came to mind. No rules, no pressure, just space to relax and let ideas flow ✏️

Taking a short break like this helped us slow down, clear our heads and step away from the usual routine. When we returned to our tasks, it was with fresh energy, a clearer focus and a renewed sense of motivation 💡

A simple reminder that sometimes stepping away is exactly what helps us move forward 💙

Are you looking for the opportunity to grow your accountancy career while making a real difference? Beyond Limits are looking for a Trainee Finance Lead to join our supportive and values-driven finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to learn, develop and progress, with mentoring from our Finance Director and a clear pathway to Finance Lead within around 12 months as part of our succession planning.

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Holiday: 7 weeks per year
Contract: Permanent, with pension scheme and company sick pay
Location: Hybrid role. Mainly home-based, with regular face-to-face meetings at our Plymouth Head Office
Ref: JB/TFL

You’ll support the accurate recording of financial transactions using Sage, help prepare management accounts, cash flow statements and Individual Service Fund reports, and work closely with budget holders and our leadership team.

We’re looking for someone who is not just technically capable, but compassionate, values-led and interested in becoming a “human accountant” who believes in the capacity of all people, regardless of disability.
