🎄 Giving Back Together This Festive Season 🎄

This December at Beyond Limits, we wanted to support a local cause making a real difference in our community. So we held a Reverse Advent Calendar event in our office, where our team donated hats, scarves, gloves, jackets, socks, long‑life food, toiletries and other goodies, all to support people who need it most this winter.

We chose to donate these items to Shekinah, a Plymouth‑based charity that supports people facing multiple disadvantages, including homelessness, social exclusion, addiction and complex health needs. Shekinah works every day to build lives and futures by offering practical help like showers, clothing and hot food, advice on benefits, accommodation, health and wellbeing, and support with training and employment.

We are proud to be able to support their work this Christmas and help bring a little extra warmth and joy to those who need it most. ❤️

🎄 What a way to wrap up 2025 🎄

Our Beyond Limits Christmas party brought together staff, the people we support and their families at the Woolwell Centre for a night filled with laughter, dancing and festive cheer ✨ The DJ kept the Christmas favourites coming, the buffet was enjoyed by all and the dance floor stayed busy all night 🕺💃

One of the standout moments had to be the conga line that swept through the room and had everyone smiling, followed by a great opportunity to capture a brilliant group photo 📸🎄

We also held our Christmas raffle, with a number of lucky winners taking home festive hampers, smellies sets, wine and other treats 🎁

It was the perfect way to celebrate a great year and the incredible Beyond Limits community that makes everything we do possible ❤️

Festive creativity in full swing at Beyond Limits 🎄

Staff and the people we support came together for a Christmas workshop filled with card making, tree decorations and what has to be a contender for the world’s longest paper chain (nearly 20 metres!).

Beyond Limits Gaming Day 2025 was incredible 🎮✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day full of fun and friendly competition. We had some real stars in the spotlight too.

🏎️ Josh showed us how a true Mario Kart champion races
🎲 Hannah and Heather proved they are our board game and charades pros
🚗 Andrew smashed the Scalextric fastest lap record, even with a small Pepsi can crash moment that everyone is still laughing about

The energy, teamwork and big smiles throughout the day made it unforgettable 💙

We are already planning to bring Gaming Day back next year, and we cannot wait to see even more of you there 🎉

A Team Night to Remember 💙

It was brilliant having our colleague Raf visit from Portugal recently.

Raf is our resident recruitment specialist, and it was so lovely to have him in the office in person. We rounded off the day with a night of good food and great company 🍽️✨

Moments like these remind us how important connection, togetherness and genuine team spirit are to the way we work at Beyond Limits. We are at our best when we support each other, celebrate each other and enjoy time together both in and out of the office 💙

Recently, Kayleigh and her amazing support team spent an unforgettable day at Thorpe Park, soaking up the excitement and laughter that come with a day of fun and thrills.

From thrilling rides to shared smiles, this trip was about creating memories and celebrating Kayleigh’s love for getting out and about. These moments remind us why we do what we do, empowering people to live happy, fulfilling lives and supporting them to experience the world on their own terms.

🎉 Happy Belated Birthday, Heather! 🎂

Heather recently spent her birthday exploring the beautiful New Forest, enjoying the scenery, fresh air, and plenty of laughter along the way. It was such a special trip, full of moments that really showed how much Heather is thriving.

We love seeing Heather living her best life, doing the things that make her happy and confident. That’s what it’s all about for us, supporting people to do what matters most to them and celebrating every milestone, big or small.

🎃 Beyond Limits Halloween Party 2025 👻

What an amazing afternoon of spooky fun! We invited staff and the people we support to join us for a Halloween celebration filled with laughter, music, and plenty of festive spirit.

The office was transformed with spooky decorations, everyone showed off their best costumes, and the Halloween tunes set the mood perfectly! 🎶🕸️

Our baking competition was a spooky success, with lots of creative (and delicious!) Halloween-themed goodies brought in. Everyone got to vote for their favourites before we held our very own awards ceremony, celebrating not just the best bakes, but also best dressed, best couple's costume, and more! 🧁🏆🕷️

We ended the day with some karaoke, singing our hearts out to Halloween classics (and a few other favourites too). It was a fantastic afternoon that brought everyone together for some festive fun! 👩‍🎤💀💜

Looking Back on National Disability Employment Awareness Month 🟢

As October comes to an end, we’ve been thinking about all the people we’ve supported this month and throughout the year 💼💪. Seeing people grow in confidence, develop skills, and take on meaningful work is why we do what we do 🌱

We’ve also been reminded of the importance of inclusive workplaces, where everyone has the chance to contribute and be valued 🤝. Disability is never a barrier to making a difference, and every achievement, big or small, is worth celebrating 🌟.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month may be ending, but our commitment to supporting people, creating opportunities, and championing inclusion continues every day.
