All of us here at plym physio want to send our huge congratulations to our boss Nic. She only went and done it.

For those of you who didn’t know Nic took part in the strictly event on Saturday AND SHE WON! 🥇

We are all very proud of Nic and all the hard work she put in with to create such a fabulous performance.

Most importantly it was an outstanding event for an amazing charity. We still have the time to donate to this wonderful cause so please use the QR code to donate if you are able too.

Nic has selflessly volunteered herself (possibly in the humiliating style of Ann Widdicombe) and compete in this years Hugs does Strictly event at the Crowne Plaza on Saturday 8th November. It’s raising funds for Hugs for Children’s Cancer. It would soften the blow if she could actually raise some money so if you could see your way to donating she would be very grateful! She may even be nicer to you on your next physio session as a reward!!!

Meet Tom – Our New Physiotherapist at Plym Physio

We’re excited to welcome Tom to the Plym Physio team!

Originally from Wales, Tom moved to Plymouth to study Physiotherapy at Plymouth University, graduating in 2022. Since then, he has gained invaluable experience working within the NHS, rotating through critical care, elderly rehab, and musculoskeletal outpatients. It was here that he cemented his passion for the type of physiotherapy he now brings to Plym Physio.

Physiotherapy has always been a part of Tom’s life. With a dad who worked as a sports therapist and a mum who’s a qualified masseuse, he grew up immersed in rehab and performance. His rugby career — including playing at age-grade international level and later with Plymouth Albion and Devonport Services — also means he’s experienced physiotherapy both as a patient and as a professional. This unique perspective shapes the way he works with clients, understanding firsthand what it takes to recover and perform at your best.

Tom brings a fantastic blend of acute NHS knowledge and long-term sports and exercise experience. He’s passionate about giving patients the time, care, and tailored treatment they need to achieve the best possible outcomes.

We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait for you to meet him in clinic!
