You know us! We love a party, so here’s another event for your diaries families 💃

🌺 Mother’s Day Party
📅 Friday 13th March
🕰️ 12.00 arrival
🥘 Buffet style lunch 12.30pm
🎶 Live Music from Zoe Starts 2pm

As well as a fundraising Tombola raffle 💞
(Donations welcome and the table is in the reception area)

As this is a ‘fundraising event’, please bring cash with you to raise some money for our residents fund. Thanks very much 🌹 🌷

Our next around the 🌍 theme for March is ITALY 🇮🇹

The residents are enjoying trying different foods and learning about different cultures. It’s lovely to hear them talking about places they have travelled as well as sparking conversations about their holidays they have enjoyed with loved ones, sharing their fond memories 💙

Happy Chinese new year 🧧 🇨🇳 the year of the horse 🐴

We’ve had our second themed day and chose to time it with the Chinese new year 🇨🇳

Wonderful menu today from the lovely Lia, sweet and sour chicken with pineapple or chicken stir fry, mandarin 🍊 cake with a beautiful syrup.

For tea they are having sweet chicken soup 🍜
Coconut Rice pudding with an orange compote.

Prawn crackers and some fortune cookies 🥠

We’ve had a quiz about China, tried to learn mandarin but that was really hard 😂

And then Kelly and Reece did a pancake flip competition and Reece won 🥞

Trip information 🦋

If any families would like to join us you are very welcome to meet us at the Box museum on Wednesday 25th Feb.
🕰️
Time approx :
10.45 pick up from home 🏠 for 11.30am drop off to the box
2pm pick up from the box for a 2.30 drop off back home🏠
But please let me get double confirmation with the taxi company with timings which we usually discuss again- Incase of any changes.

As the buses are booked for school contracts we only have a short time frame (approx 2:5hrs) to get around the box. Therefore I’ve spoken to the residents going on the trip and they have all agreed it makes more sense to take a packed lunch, that way we have more time to explore the museum. So if you are coming please bring a packed lunch with you 😀

Chocolate Strawberry dipping turned into strawberry eating 😂 naughty Audrey even licked the chocolate off the spoon. We had such a fun afternoon - sorry not many strawberries for tomorrow…. They fell on the floor 🤪 🤥

Then we watched the figure skating ⛸️ on the TV 📺
