Tender Loving Care (TLC) workshops are designed by Soul Midwives to give ANYONE and EVERYONE practical skills, invaluable information, confidence and support when it comes to looking after someone who is dying. It is a simplified version of Soul Midwifery and supports anyone working either professionally or personally with the dying, giving simple, practical ideas and skills that can really help with the quality of their end of life care.

Who would benefit from TLC training?

TLC is for all, but especially if you are:
-currently caring for a loved one with a terminal diagnosis
-working as a professional in palliative care
-working as a holistic or complementary therapist with clients who have a terminal diagnosis
-wanting to develop your understanding and empathy around the dying journey, to support yourself and others

What you will learn

-How to recognise the four stages of dying
-How to use simple and practical skills to support physical and emotional needs along the journey
-How to use deep listening skills and support those difficult conversations and decisions at end of life
-How to create and keep a loving space around the death bed
-How to vigil and support ‘A Good Death’

As a Soul Midwife it is such an honour and privilege to be with someone as they approach the end of their earthly life… for some it may be just as simple as listening, for others it may be holding the space for them to gently slip away, knowing that they are held in such love 💕
