📆 Did you know you can cancel and request to reschedule your outpatient appointments with Mid Yorkshire via Patients Know Best (PKB), our patient portal?

This helps to save you time by removing the need to contact us by phone. Our booking team with then get in touch with you to schedule a new appointment if this has been requested.

PKB is a secure online system where we are able to share information relating to the care we provide to you. Simply log in using any internet-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.

You can also view additional healthcare information on PKB, including:

We have been made aware of an attempted "scam call" in which a person was informed via a automated voice that their medical records stored at their surgery was incorrect and asked them to press various buttons before continuing in a different language.

If we needed to contact you regarding your medical records, one of our reception or admin team members would call you.

If you receive any suspicious calls of this nature , please do inform us.

Today is a day to raise awareness about liver health, disease prevention and disease early detection. It's also an opportunity to celebrate liver donors and their families and take a moment to think about those on the transplant waiting list who are waiting on a liver transplant.

Confirming your decision to be a liver donor on the NHS Organ Donor Register can save a life.

We are pleased to report that our Internet and phone lines have both been restored.

The technical issues we have experienced this week were beyond our control and have now been resolved.

Our teams are working hard to manage the back log of enquires, so please bare with us

Update 4pm.

Unfortunately our telephone lines are still down and we are unable to accept any calls.

The Internet has Unfortunately also stopped working again and we have clinicians logging into laptops and trying to get back online.

We are aware of how frustrating this is for everyone, but please be assured we are doing everything we can to get back on line and have escalated this issue.

Please continue to use PATCHS to contact us.

Further updates will be provided when we know more.

Update 8am

We now have Internet at the practice and are able to access the systems, however we still have an issue with the telephone lines and are unable to take any calls.

Our telephone system provider are looking trying to sort a temporary fix, whilst investigating the issues.

Please use PATCHS where possible to contact the surgery.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.

Update 5.30pm.

A temporary fix has been made , so that we can now connect to the Internet, but unfortunately our phone lines are still affected.

We are trying to get the phone lines back on for tomorrow and a further update will be provided tomorrow.

Please use PATCHS for any urgent queries.

‼️Walk in Blood Clinic -14th April. ‼️

Unfortunately due to the issues we are experiencing at the surgery, the walk in blood clinic has been cancelled for Tuesday 14th April.

We still have no Internet or phone lines. The engineer is on site and we are working on rectifying the issues as fast as possible.

We do have contingency laptops and some staff are managing to access some systems.
