This season is rooted in Earth’s natural rhythms & the sacred Winter Solstice, the moment when the sun pauses in stillness before beginning its return. In 2025, the solstice will occur on Sunday, 21st December at 15:03 GMT, marking the shortest day & longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

For our ancestors & many modern practitioners, this is a time to honor the quiet mystery of Winter, to kindle hearth & heart alike & to attune our intentions to the returning light. Whether through candle magic, evergreen symbols, or ritual reflection, Yule invites us to rest in the darkness & trust in the promise of renewal. ✨

Lapis lazuli has become one of my favorite stones to keep in my home 💙 & I truly feel the difference it makes. For me, lapis brings a sense of calm & clarity. It feels both soothing & empowering at the same time.

I also love its rich history. Lapis lazuli was deeply revered in ancient Egypt, used in jewelry, amulets & even ground into pigment for sacred art. The Egyptians believed it symbolized the night sky, wisdom & divinity which makes having it in my home feel even more meaningful. To hold a piece of lapis is to hold a piece of Isis’ soul 💙

Beyond its beauty, lapis feels like a reminder to slow down, speak honestly & stay connected to something deeper. It’s not just décor for me, it’s intentional energy woven into my everyday life. Brightest blessings, Aimee 💙✨
