Oh what a beautiful morning 🌞 for our Fabulous Friday Walkers 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ in Pontefract Park. The early morning mist had been replaced by beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies.

We had another new face today, Welcome to Jacqui!

No duckling 🦆🦆🦆 update this week as there was no sign of them on the pond. So we headed over to the lake to see the ducks and geese there.

We took some scenic routes for both distances tonight to North Featherstone and back

Nice to see some fellow runners also doing some of the Ponte 10k route .. not long to go, sign up now if you haven’t already ✍️

Our Terrific Tuesday walkers 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ are loving these Spring evenings - the sun was shining 🌞, the chat was plentiful and we explored another new route thanks to Nic, our intrepid route planner.

It was that time of the week again this morning when our Fabulous Friday Walkers met up to take in the natural beauty of Pontefract Park 🌳 stretching our legs & having a good old natter!

The weather stayed fine and it was lovely to welcome a new face and see some returning faces 🙂🙂🙂

Spring 🌷🌼🌱 is definitely here and the bluebells are out in force. The ducklings at the pond have grown even bigger over the last week and were venturing out on their own without mum🦆🦆🦆 They were very happy to see Treena and her food!

Thursday run ✅✅ it always amazes me to feel the change in energy before and after a run, especially when doing it in a group 🤩 always a better brighter outlook afterwards and ready to finish the week strong 💪

🧮 According to our 80’s Abacus 🤣 between us all we did around 66,000 steps this evening!💥

A fab & scenic out & back for our walkers thanks to Nic’s (absolutely no trespassing) route planning 🙌🏽

And a short and sweet loop route for our runners 👟👟

We all agreed it was much needed after ‘a day’

Ya know what, these meets are not just about being active. They’re about off-loading, taking some time out, de-stressing in supportive company, meeting new friends, having chats & laughs and feeling so much lighter afterwards ☁️ 💗

If you feel like that’s a bit of what you’d like, come along & join us - everyone’s welcome and you’ll never be sorry you came 💯
