Running a salon is something I truly love, I’ve had Locks&Lashes now 6 years! A successful 6 years it’s been but this year feels slightly different. like many businesses right now we’re feeling the impact of the rising cost of living. To run a salon or a shop prices have increased significantly, and the cost of professional salon products continues to rise too.

More shops are closing especially in station lane 😞 it’s no longer what it used to be! I used to offer a brow bar where people would be queuing out of the door, we’d have makeup Saturdays and busy blow drys but this no longer seems to be. We try our hardest all of the girls in the salon to provide the latest trends, products & offers but whilst doing this we have families, children to feed homes to run!

At the same time, many people understandably have to be more careful with their spending, which means salon visits are sometimes pushed back or spaced out more than usual.

As a small business, we always try our best to keep our prices fair while still providing high-quality services, products, and the relaxing experience everyone deserves. Every single appointment genuinely makes a difference and helps support local business.

If you’ve been thinking about booking in for a a little self-care, we’d absolutely love to see you in the salon. Your support truly means the world. ✂️✨we also have my lovely sister Claire who now as her own travel agents in the salon offering something different to the normal salon vibes! You book a holiday that’s safe & secure with her whilst enjoying coming in for treatments with us! We want to give you everything we can whilst enjoying coming to visit us!

As many of you know I’m starting to offer hair again in the salon. I am a fully qualified level 3 hair stylist with over 10 years experience. I’m looking for 5 lovely ladies to start their blow dry club journey with me ( I promise you won’t be disappointed) the reason I’m offering reduced monthly blow drys is because I’m wanting to show the benefits of a blowy dry when it’s done professionally weather that’s a bouncy blow or a sleek smooth finish! The difference you will see to your hair! Is next level! Are you an extension girly? Who does haven’t time to maintain your hair? This one’s for you! Do you know by not drying and washing your hair extensions properly this can cause lots of problems like fungal infections , matting, smelling of the hair. Breakage & hair extensions to loose their life quickly! Are you sick of drying your own hair and want to give it some life? A bouncy blow can last days if done correctly & give you the just done look which means no messing for a week! Do you want a good scalp scrub & a natter just so you feel more you! A wash & blow have many special reasons to book ⭐️ I only have 5 places at the minute for this and this is starting from April. £30 for a weekly wash & blow dry for a whole month! Wow I can’t believe the messages and responses I’ve had since saying I’m going to be back doing hair ❤️ it’s lovely to see people still want to come back to me even after all these years! As many of you know I’ve been on reduced hours since having Nolan (part time) which meant I had to cut my treatments I was offering. Lashes & brows took up majority of my days. But now I’m happy to announce I will be working more hours & getting back into hair! Yes that’s right Hair!! I’ve never stopped loving hair I just had to prioritise other treatments but now I’ve more time I’m going to go back to offering hair again!
I’m going to be offering from April! Cut & blow drys, boys/men’s perms (perm only) & weekly wash & blow drys! (Sorry colouring isn’t happening well not just yet anyway but who knows 🫣) I’ve missed doing hair after all it’s what got me where I am now! If anyone’s interested please send me a message!
