🎉 Our Tea Party is officially underway! 🎉

What a fantastic way to kick off our summer activities here at Warde Aldam! Today marks the first of many exciting events, and we’re so pleased to see everyone coming together to celebrate.

We have plenty to look forward to in the coming months, including our much-anticipated Music Week in June 🎶 and our Summer Fair in late July ☀️

We’re really looking forward to welcoming more people to our service and sharing these special moments with our community. Stay tuned for more updates and photos! 💛

We’re delighted to invite you to a lovely afternoon of tea, treats, and great company here at Warde Aldam!

What a wonderful time we had celebrating Easter here at Warde Aldam! Our residents enjoyed a day filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of festive fun. From delicious Easter treats to lovely decorations and great company, it truly was a special occasion for everyone. 💛

🌟 A Wonderful Visit from the Morris Dobson Museum! 🌟
This week at Warde Aldam, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jane from the Morris Dobson Museum in Darfield, Barnsley for an afternoon of nostalgia, conversation, and shared memories.
Jane brought along a fantastic collection of historic items that sparked lively discussion among our residents. It was lovely to see everyone reminiscing, sharing their own knowledge, and connecting over memories from years gone by. Even Jane said she learned a few new things from our residents—which says a lot about the wisdom and experience in our home!
A huge thank you to the Morris Dobson Museum for giving their time and for allowing us to share photos of the visit on Facebook. It was a truly enriching afternoon enjoyed by all.
We’re already looking forward to the next visit!

A huge happy birthday to Dawn, our amazing cook, who keeps everyone smiling with her delicious meals, and to Lesley, our fantastic deputy manager, who supports both residents and staff every single day 💐

🌟 A Wonderful Visit from The Exodus Project! 🌟
We were thrilled to welcome The Exodus Project, the fantastic children’s charity based in Barnsley, to Warde Aldam today!
The young people brought so much warmth, fun, and energy into our home. Together with our residents, they enjoyed a variety of activities — from crafts and games to sharing stories and plenty of smiles.
It was truly heart‑warming to see different generations connecting, learning from one another, and creating such joyful moments.
A huge thank you to the team and young people from The Exodus Project for spending time with us and making the day so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back again! 💛
