The last few months have been a challenge but we're sailing on an even keel - for now 🤷. It has been lovely to see families again this month and get back to the privileged role that I enjoy as a celebrant.
Playing with CHATGPT - it produced this image and said I was effortlessly in control of life 😃. My daughter said "effortlessly floating on the surface like a swan but furiously paddling underneath" 🥰. To everyone out there, keep paddling, you're doing a great job and you'll get there 🥰x

A volunteer shift at Tredegar House, very quiet today but lovely to see the poppy display in the stables. Sir Briggs is made out of willow and it's well worth a visit. Look out for the Christmas events, we'll soon be busy getting it ready for the 4th Dec.

Langstone Vale crematorium welcomed visitors today to wander around their beautiful garden of remembrance, tour the chapel and meet various companies in the funeral industry. You are always welcome if you missed today ❤️

"Sunday morning downtime" before a busy week. Beautiful swans and 6 cygnets on the boating lake, not very good pictures but the ones at Tredegar House were more tame, the male though was quite protective. Enjoy the sun 😎

We are proud to share that we have chosen four new corporate charity partners and pledged to donate a minimum of £400,000 over the next two years 💙

Our new charity partners are Child Bereavement UK, Cruse Bereavement Support, Winston's Wish - giving hope to grieving children and World Land Trust. Each of these incredible organisations will receive at least £50,000 per year to support their vital work.

We know how important it is to support those who are grieving and to help protect our natural world. These four charities reflect the values we hold at the heart of our organisation.

This support is made possible through our metal recycling scheme, which is carried out with the consent of families, as well as other fundraising efforts across our sites.

We feel privileged to be able to contribute to causes that make such a meaningful difference in people’s lives and the world around us.

Another month gone, and despite the weather it was great to walk with some lovely friends and enjoy our countryside. Spring is on its way, the frogs have been busy in our pond and the daffodils appeared in time for St David's day. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A quick canal wander to start the day before getting back to some writing. Our industry in my area is really busy at the moment but always a privilege to be helping families who have lost their loved ones 🥰
