Thank you to the the Surgical Science team for letting me loose on your simulator.

It’s easy to understand that you can’t just pick up the controls and away you go. Especially when you think for a Surgeon you have someone’s life in your hands.
“See One, Do One, Teach One” that sounds an archaic method but it’s in use today …Then add in the availability of training is severely “limited”.
A new 20k/sqft centre for the UK recently announced, location Reading in 2025. Sorry if I’m not impressed we started our RB Project Q effort in 2017.
One “centre” is just not enough, but that’s my personal opinion.
Consider an F1 driver or Aviators …How long do they spend in a simulatior before getting into their cockpits ?

I was chatting to a Steve and his good lady, a couple of customers at Rob's Filling Station about RB Project Q and the vision.

Unbeknownst to me he works for a company called 3B Scientific and invited me to attend a conference they were attending at the BIC this week. So on Weds 12.11.25 I went along for a looksee. Really interesting!!

Steve introduced me to Marko from another company Surgical Science Medical Simulators.

Derek and I grabbed a weather window opportunity and TANGO 7 slipped from Cobbs at 1pm. Thanks for covering at Rob's Filling Station Uncle Mark. We headed out to the harbour mouth stuck our nose out, turned around and headed back into the harbour for calmer fishing conditions. Derek caught and returned a small bass and on the last cast of the day I brought in….A crab 🤣. Didn’t matter just bobbing and chilling was just what the Dr ordered! Back alongside at 1730….in the dark. Poole is stunning from the sea at night. Wash down… Now to book in for the first service with Holes Bay Marine Engineering .
