The oesophagus can also be called the gullet. This is the tube that runs from the mouth to the stomach, and is part of the digestive system. Cancer can develop anywhere in the oesophagus.

Age 16 – 24? You may be able to have a FREE HPV vaccination at your GP surgery.

HPV vaccinations help to protect all genders from ge***al
warts and HPV-related cancers such as cervical, pe**le, a**l, vaginal and throat cancer.

You should have received a dose at school, however if
you missed your HPV vaccination at school, it’s not too
late to catch up.

To work towards the goal of the elimination of cervical cancer, the NHS in the South West has outlined 3 goals to achieve over the next 4 years:

✅Increase HPV vaccination rates to 90% for boys and girls
✅Ensure at least 70% of women are screened by the age of 35 and again by the age of 45
✅Ensure 90% of women diagnosed with cervical disease receive treatment

SkinVision Project would like know if people would use a Smartphone app to keep an eye on changes to their skin.

Apps like ‘SkinVision’ are designed to identify early signs of skin cancer. It could help people decide when they need to get advice from their doctor about moles or changes to their skin.

To find out if and when people would use the SkinVision app they are asking different groups of people what they think.
