Young Carers Action Day is an annual Carers Trust initiative is a vital opportunity to recognise the contribution of young carers and to highlight the importance of ensuring they have equal access to education, wellbeing support and future opportunities.

This year’s theme, Fair Futures, focuses on equity of opportunity – recognising the strengths young carers develop while addressing the barriers they may face, and
supporting them to thrive.

We've been working hard to reduce our DNAs (did not attends). From July 25 where we were at 4.50% DNA rate, in Feb we were at 2.39%. This is helpful to ensure that we keep as many appointments available for patients as possible. We are grateful to those patients who have responded to our questionnaires also about why they may have failed to attend which helps us look for any trends!

Share your experience to help shape healthcare

Your experiences of the NHS matter and they can drive real change. The Patients Association works directly with patients to inform recommendations that influence health and care policy, hold decision-makers to account, and improve how services partner with patients.

The Association is asking for ten minutes of your time to complete its Patient Experience survey. It wants to hear about your experiences with NHS services over the last six months: what’s working well, what isn’t, and what needs to change.

Your responses will be used in a report to support the Association’s campaigning and advocacy work, helping to make the strongest possible case to government, the NHS, and policymakers for the improvements patients need and deserve.
